I am a Cardiac I.C.U nurse. I have been a nurse for eight years which I love because I get to help seriously ill people and work with incredibly smart people from every nationality and sexual orientation. I enjoy music. I sing, act like I can play the guitar. I love reading, camping, going to concerts, going on vacation (anywhere....even at home), riding motorcycles, raising kids, animals, and watching old movies.

I like every genre of music except Gospel, but AFI is my favorite band.

All time favorite movie is Gone With The Wind, National Lampoons Christmans Vacation, Pass it on (older not very well know movie), It's hard to put together a list because I have watched so many movies (we like to collect DVD's and have hundreds!!!!

FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, other than that I don't watch much T.V. but when I do, I mostly channel surf. I like to watch the Discovery Channels, Cooking shows (because I like to eat!), Survivor and American Idol (because my husband and I like to laugh at the contestants, especially at the beginning of the show. Then we get hooked and want to see who wins), and the music channels.

I like the Janet Evanovich series about the female bounty hunter Stephanie Plum. I have read all of the Harry Potter books and am anxiously awaiting the next book. I also like Anne Rice books: she mostly has series about vampires, most people are familiar with the Vampire Lestat movie that was based off this series. I just finished an Anne Rice series called the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty which is an adult fairy tale. But all in all I am a voracious reader who will read just about anything as long as it hooks me in the first chapter.
